The service was great, and the food was delicious. The bacalhau was great!! I personally prefer the potato chips on the side and not dipped into the tomatoe and olive oil. Some of the potato chips from the bacalhau dish were soggy, but that is a personal preference. The octopus was delicious AND tender. The beef was tender but could have some sauce on the side. We really enjoyed the lunch and great service! Prices are a little high for Portuguese standards.
This place seemed to be visited by many locals. We had a very nice seafood dinner for a very reasonable price. Worth to visit for authentic food and a relaxed atmosphere.
We have just arrived late to Lisbon with our plane and also the car rental company took an hour of our time as they had not enough vans and a high demand for transfers from the airport. Finally we got to Lourinha and to be honest we were very hungry and our choice was based on how late is the place open. This restaurant has exceeded our expectations by serving us excellent food with a small but great wine selection. I had cod fish and octopus my two favorite Portuguese dish. Both were tasty and amazingly prepared! I can only recommend this restaurant to everyone. Our waiter didn't speak English but he was super nice and very fast! It was an amazing experience late night, the one which makes your travel feel nice!
Wonderful seafood cooked to perfection. The Arroz de Tamboril and the Polvo were the best we ever had. Great service and excellent value.
After waiting for ages we finally got our meal which was not properly cooked. The meal was taken back and after another 15 minutes of so it was returned to us, this time properly cooked. The owner, who is also the chef told us that since he cannot get staff to work on Sundays (during the Summer) he comes out to serve and it is his wife who cooks. Regrettably, she cannot cope with all the meals being requested
