I wasn't even sure the Frederick was open, but called the number and a nice lady came to the door. I was the only guest on a Tuesday night. It is an old hotel, so if you're expecting a modern feel, then this is not the place (but good luck finding that in Loup City! . However, my room did have its own bathroom, TV, WiFi, and mini-fridge. I was comfortable and enjoyed the feel of the historic building. If you have an open mind, you can have a really nice time. All the rooms are upstairs, so if you have mobility challenges this might not be for you, otherwise you might just enjoy run of the place!

Overall, it's a fantastic spot, and the owner was incredibly welcoming.
