What antonioVBoas doesn't like about Thai Garden:
The place is very nice and I thought the food was going to be amazing. It’s not. It’s good but not more than that. The staff is kind and the overall experience was good enough. Prices are ok except for the Soup, we paid 15,90 expecting a soup to share but no, it was a single portion for one that cost as much as a full soup. The other prices are ok. Decor is very nice. Dined here last weekend. It has gone way downhill since we last visited. The Menu was very limited with few choices. The food was bland and did not taste great. I do not know what is happening here but we will not be back.
Great restaurant, varied menu, fab service including as many Prawn Crackers as you can handle. Really atmospheric and fairly priced considering the location. Really enjoyed this restaurant. Highly recommend. Tenderloin Beef is a must.
Having been recommended, our visit was disappointing. Good service but moderate food sadly. House wine was ok . Cost at 40€ per head was ok but seemed expensive for what we ate Wish we’d followed trip advisor and gone to Thai bistro

We are very frequent visitors to Thai Garden and Sao Gabriel and always enjoy delicious food, wine, ambience and great service. This visit to Thai Garden was spoiled by another diner, sitting two tables away from us, smoking a large and very smelly cigar from the minute we arrived at 20.00 until he left at around 21.30. I appreciate we were all sitting outside but surely there must be a rule for smoking, and especially large cigars, whilst fellow diners are trying to enjoy their food? Sao Gabriel has a separate smoking area to the outside restaurant and I think Thai Garden should enforce this as well.
