The food was freshly cooked and everyone enjoyed their meal. The house wine was good and cheap! In the summer it was blissful to escape the heat outdoors and in June the temperature was fine. I haven't eaten in the Winter yet so cannot comment about that. Would happily go again. Good choice for a cheap meal out.

The second time we visited, a... read more During our recent stay at Quinta do Lago we ate at this restaurant twice. The welcome, food, wine and the service was really good. The second time we visited, a week later, the waitress remembered my daughter telling her the hamburger was the best ever. The restaurant used to be an olive oil mill and has a room stocked with artefacts. We really enjoyed both times and look forward to going back. There is also a nice terrace garden next to the restaurant.
