We only came here for a coffee because it was near the Pre-Lent Carnival Parade street.

We took our table outside and waited, and waited, over 20 mins with no sign of service. One lady person seemed to be the only waitress serving all inside and ou... read more We took our table outside and waited, and waited, over 20 mins with no sign of service. One lady person seemed to be the only waitress serving all inside and outside tables which, over this Saturday lunchtime, were almost all occupied. Eventually in the absence of any attention at all from the waitress we went inside to get the menus ourselves and almost 10 mins later the waitress took our order. Then after a further 20 mins food arrived, but one of the items was a hamburger which was very very red seemingly uncooked. On sending it back for cooking it took nearly 10 mins for it to come back. The waitress was clearly inattentive to the needs at the outside tables, and it took well over an hour to order and get served a fairly basic simple lunch. No marks at all for customer service!!!! Best stay away and go elsewhere.

First we waited 15 minutes outside and no one approached for order. We thought maybe was just our fault and the place didn't have outside service, so we moved inside, waiting time was less but it continued. Air conditioner was faulty, it was very hot inside, not pleasant at all, specially with children When we finally got our order, more 15 minutes had passed. For 2 chocolate crepes, 2 coffees and 2 waters, in a hot sauna...

You know...this was a nice restaurant for a coffee and a pastry but there are some things you must know....About 1.00 p.m., they fire up the steamers and serve... read more You know...this was a nice restaurant for a coffee and a pastry but there are some things you must know....About 1.00 p.m., they fire up the steamers and serve a buffet lunch which is costed out based on weight! Now the good news....the wait staff were lovely attentive and pleasant and helpful. Now the REALLY bad news....we visited this restaurant four times in a month and the washrooms were a disgrace! You would think that the urinal in the men’s washroom could have been fixed in a month.....NOPE. The toilet seat as so deteriorated that I was afraid to sit on it...and didn’t. Basics need to be attended to!!!!!!!

There were not many other light snacks, although they do have meals with chips, so we just had coffees. They have tables outside and it is near the market in Loule. There are some tables inside as well. There is a pastry counter but the service there was slow. They seemed to be more concerned with filling the shelves in the window display, rather than serve customers.
