Casa Do Golfe - Loulé

Top notch. Great food and atmosphere. Staff are on the ball and nice to see a family run business. My colleague had steak Portuguese style and said it was the nicest steak he's ever had. Would highly recommend dining here. FYI it is now known as Casa do Quinta, not Casa do golf

This restaurant has been in the same family for many years. They have a lovely terrace with smart tables and very attentive staff. Indeed it is difficult to fault the service. The menu is quite extensive and serves a variety of fish and meat in a style is is more attuned to British tastes rather than Portuguese. Indeed the night we went, all we heard was British voices. Whilst the fish fillets we ate were OK, it was obvious they were frozen rather than being fresh as one can find in other restaurants. The prices at 16-20 Euros for a main course were not cheap and we wouldn't rush back there.

Good food with warm service in a tranquil setting next to a putting green, sums this restaurant up well. An enjoyable last lunch in Vale do Lobo before flying back home. I’m surprised there haven’t been more TripAdvisor reviews as it deserves some good ones.

We returned to Casa do Golfe with our family after being there 14 years ago! Beautiful ambience as we remembered, food was excellent and service too! Thank you for a very memorable meal with our beautiful family!!!!
