this basic local restaurant is as stylish as you can get for this type of family-run Portuguese operation. the fresh food takes old to get out, but it is worth waiting. cheap and cheerful, but not lacking in service and quality. if they are after eating, that is not the place for them. but if they like to eat relaxed no ruffles, then they don't find a better little food than that somewhere in the opposite. Waited 1 1/2hrs to have our meal served. Quite a number of locals came in after our party and were served before us. Some of our meals were salads. Another of our party didn't receive what they ordered and a side dish came after the meal was finished. To say the least we will not be back. 1 star is too much. View all feedback.

This basic local restaurant is as classy as you can get for this type of family run Portuguese establishment. The fresh food takes ages to come out but is well worth the wait. Cheap and cheerful but not lacking in service and quality. If you're after fine dining this is NOT the place for you. But if you like laid back relaxed no frills eating, then you won't find a better little eatery than this anywhere in the area.
Food was stunning. Steak cooked to perfection...mixed meat kebab sublime. Kids had chicken salad and ATE it. Fabulous food, fabulous host..very family friendly..good price. What more could you ask for? In vilamoura for a week ..we will return before we go! Definitely a place to dine.
Visited for simple lunch. Food fresh, delicious and well-presented. Everything immaculate inside and out. Unhurried, friendly service ... Very good value for money. Highly recommended.
