The burger was very good, I had the patty melt and I think that was one of the most interesting burgers I've ever had, in a good way! The yucca chips I was very hesitate at first but they changed my mind after the 2nd bite! I gotta say it would normally be a tiny pricey, I understand this is upscale food but also a little high in my opinion. Their service is fine, but the brewery its in they weren't as friendly but t... What Sandi U doesn't like about Happy Belly Bistro:
$18 plus fees for a burger with stale chips from a bag is a bit much. The tacos were disappointing as were the stale tortilla chips and jarred salsa. Go to ten20 but not for food.
I love Happy Belly Bistro ! Delicious food ! Wonderful owner ! I had the vegan bowl and my friend had the hot dog sampler !
Automatically adds a 20% service charge on the food. I was gonna tip that much anyways, but I would like to have a choice in the matter. Basically just makes the food look less expensive on the menu.Food was not worth the price— I had the vegan burrito bowl (12 dollars on the menu, 15 after the gratuity charge), with no drink and no sides. I was expecting a lot of food for that price. Basically I got a bit of instant rice, with pico and a table spoon of black beans. My friend got the shredded chicken burgers (no drink or sides, for a total of 20 dollars). They were very small and not well seasoned. There was no service either, to justify prices or gratuity. You pick up the food and sit in a communal area like a food court.I could have gone somewhere a lot better and payed the same or less for more food.
My burger was amazing. The perfect medium cook delicioous toppings and the broccoli on the side was perfectly cooked and seasoned as well. The customer service was on point as well
I went to the restaurant as part of Black Eats week. I had looked up the menu on-line and was excited since I saw several things I wanted to try, however when I went to the restaurant the menu was more limited and many of the items I saw on-line were not on the menu or available. I asked about several items since I was indecisive and was told by the restaurant staff that the Nachos were their best selling item so I ordered that. It looked really good, however when I tasted it, it was too bland for my taste buds. I saw cilantro but couldn't really taste it. I wish the ground beef had been seasoned better/more. I like olives but I took some of the olives off because they seemed to drown out the other flavors. I'm not sure if jalapeño peppers were an option as a topper but that would have been a nice touch of heat. I didn't eat too much of my Nacho and opted to get a to go box (knowing I would enjoy it better at home once I could add my own pop of flavor with the avocado dip featured in the pic). I really enjoyed it with the addition of this sauce. The portion size was very generous, although I wish there was more seasoned ground beef on the nacho. The staff were very pleasant. The shared space with the other restaurant was a nice ambience. I would like to go back and try the Philly cheesesteaks which I was told is the number 2 best selling item. Hopefully when I go back some of the other items like Elote will be available.
Man the Hot dogs look good. I Ordered a Hot Dog at 11:57, they open at 12. After waiting 25 minutes I went to check on the order. The gentleman tells me it will be 30 more minutes because he had a bunch of orders in front of me. Unfortunately I didn’t have time to wait an hour for a hot dog. I asked to cancel the order. After reviewing the orders, there was 3 orders in front of me. If you know you’re going to be busy on a game day, get some more help. Seems like 1 guy would have a hard time sending out orders in a timely manor.
