Was Anonym at Tryangles a mag?
During Louisville Pride, we stopped in for drinks and were pleasantly surprised. The prices were fantastic, the staff couldn't have been friendlier, and the atmosphere was lively and full of humor. View all feedback.

What Anonym dislikes about Tryangles:
Moderate atmosphere and prices. Quaint neighborhood bar with dance floor, darts and pool tables. Enclosed outdoor smoking area. Does take a while for drink orders especially during peak hours. View all feedback.

I am a huge fan. This is a definite stop for me when I 'm in the Lville to party hardy. Its not that the party crowd can necessarily be found here. This is the off the main street crowd where you feel at home. One part country, one part a go-go bar, a huge patio and a giant pool hall. Makes the place sound huge, but its quite homey. Prices of the drinks can 't be beat. We may frequent the big bar down the street for the crowd, but we come here to get drunk and forget the regrets of the other place. If i lived in Lville, this would be 'my ' bar. Good crowd, I can afford the drinks, friendly entertainment....what else could one ask for?

I like this place put the main bar 's music is too low. I asked them to turn it up but they said the speakers are so poor, if we turned it up, the speakers wires would get hot and melt . Ummm okay.

I haven't been here in quite a while and it's saddening but I've been busy trying out the other bars and restaurants Louisville has. Either way this joint is kind of a hole in the wall that is next to a shoe store in downtown (right down the road from The Connection Night Club behind McDonalds. It's easy to miss but if you're looking for a bar with club music, pool tables and gogo boys then this would be what you're looking for. They have drink specials just about every night of the week, some including $1 jello shots, $3 domestic and wells and more depending on the time of the week and time of year as well. They also do Karaoke on Tuesday nights (I believe and in the back bar on the weekends they have gogo boys on the bar for your enjoyment. The drinks here are cheap and strong, plus they have a free parking lot so if you're looking for a night out, park at Tryangles, get a couple of drinks, enjoy the scene, play some tunes on the jukebox, play a game of pool and they even have a covered smoking area when it's cold outside. After you're done there it's only a few blocks down from The Connection and they are partners so they won't be mad if you go down there for the night as well. It's a tiny, little place with good entertainment and cheap, strong (but not too strong drinks and plenty of room to get some dance on. You simply must give it a shot!

The interior is warm and inviting, with a fun tiki theme, and the bartender was incredibly sweet and attentive. The bar itself is centrally located and is the first thing you notice upon entering. The crowd felt very much like a typical dive bar family; it seemed like everyone knew each other, which I found charming. My partner and I were thrilled to find a pool table in the back, so after grabbing a shot and a drink, we headed straight there. Playing pool costs just a dollar and requires quarters, which the bartender was more than happy to exchange (plus there’s an ATM on-site if you need cash). The drinks were well-made and reasonably priced. We got two shots of tequila, two Red Bull vodkas, and a beer, all for about $40. Typically, that amount would only cover one round of well drinks elsewhere! While we were there, we overheard someone mention that they might be closing down, which was really disappointing to hear. This bar has all the characteristics you’d hope for in a local dive, and Tryangles definitely exceeded our expectations. It’s a hidden gem that’s worth a visit. I truly hope they aren’t shutting down because I would love to come back!

This might be one of the oldest gay bars in Louisville now that Connections Nightclub has closed. Tryangles has been a staple for a long time. It's a very relaxed venue with a welcoming atmosphere. Many of the regular patrons have been coming here for years. The bar primarily attracts an older crowd, so if you're looking for a wild night out, you'd be better off at PLAY. They offer all the usual bar drinks served with a smile. What sets this bar apart are the fantastic bartenders, good music, and cheerful patrons. The absence of strippers is a definite plus. There is a growing community of older LGBTQ+ individuals who simply want to enjoy themselves without facing judgment due to their age, and Tryangles is more than happy to embrace them. They also have outdoor seating in the back, which is perfect for a pleasant evening. I've been coming here for years and plan to keep returning. I truly love this place!
