What User doesn't like about Sala Thai:
I appreciate the accommodations the staff provided to be Gluten Free. Not that Thai food is difficult to make GF but I appreciated all the same. Having said that, I don’t think the number of people calling this food authentic Thai know what authentic is. This was the equivalent of a fast food Chinese takeout and not authentic. Nestled in the heart of Fern Creek, this Thai restaurant has become a cherished spot for my family. Its proximity to our home makes it a convenient culinary escape, offering a taste of Thailand right in our backyard. My wife, son, and I are aficionados of Asian cuisines, and this place has consistently impressed us with its authentic and diverse Thai offerings. We've embarked on a gastronomic adventure through their menu, from the rich and aromatic seafood soups to the perfectly balanced curries. Each dish is a testament to the chef’s expertise in blending traditional flavors with a touch of modern flair. What strikes me most is the consistent quality of their food. Whether it’s the subtle spice of their soups or the robust depth of one of their curries, every meal has been a delightful experience. Their attention to detail, from the selection of fresh ingredients to the presentation of the dishes, elevates the dining experience. This Thai restaurant is more than just a place to eat; it’s a journey through the flavors of Thailand, lovingly prepared and served with a warm smile. For anyone in Fern Creek or the surrounding areas, it’s a culinary destination that shouldn’t be missed. Highly recommended for a family dinner or a casual outing. It’s a five-star experience that keeps us coming back for more.
Amazing food! I highly recommend the chicken pad Thai and the garlic beef. The appetizer sampler is perfect for two and definitely shouldn't be overlooked. Overall, I rate the food a 5, the service a 5, and the atmosphere a 5.
My sister and I visited this restaurant for the first time today, and we really enjoyed it! When my fried rice arrived, I was ready to ask for some sauce to add flavor. However, after the first bite...WOW! It was a burst of flavor. The rice was already delicious on its own, but combined with the pineapple, chicken, cranraisins, and other ingredients, it was incredibly satisfying for my taste buds. We will definitely be returning to try more!

I found a cockroach in my food!!! The staff didn't seem to treat it as a serious issue. I used to really enjoy dining there when it was called Sala Thai, but now I absolutely won't be returning! I had to give them one star, but they don't deserve even that.
