Absolutely the best sushi bar yet! Very good! Comfortable environment with great food! Definitely enjoyed ourselves! This was a very well put together restaurant! Almost as well put together as their delicate sushi plates! View all feedback.
Decent restaurant. Not enough wait staff. food was ok, but then again should be for prices, BUT...very very annoying to be seating within 3 ft of entertainment and two LOUD speakers. Tone it down Saki! Young host staff was clueless. Said there would be no other other table available. UNREAL! My guests got there first or I would have told the restaurant to keep their money. A business giving commands to a paying customer. Tables opened up plentiful as we continued to dine, we just could not hear a word each other was saying. Too much competition in Louisville for a Manager to not recognize the customer is paying for food/comfort/conversation with friends. Very bad experience for something so simple to correct. Saki Blue Manager! Think about the customer. In the long run, you will stay open! If you visit...do not go on Tuesday or Thursday night! You may be seated at one of the elevated DB tables.
This place has an AMAZING menu of every kind of Japanese hibachi and sushi delights. Let me start by saying the Sake Blue Edamame (they have a regular and Sake Blue version on the menu, so make sure you get the right one is hands down the best edamame I've ever had in my life. They cook it in some kind of garlic butter and it is smack dab delicious. I have tried some of their other appetizers, like The Rock, where you get thin strips of steak to cook on a hot rock, but honestly, the Sake Blue Edamame is the best by far. The hibachi stuff is good, but why fill up on that when their sushi is SO GOOD? I am particularly a fan of their more extravagant rolls, like the Las Vegas Roll, which is deep friend on the outside and amazingly tasty on the inside. They only have the Passion Blue Roll on occasion so look for it on the nightly specials. The Sake Blue Roll is one of those that they light on fire in front of you, so it's fun and yummy at the same time and the Temptation Roll lives up to its name. Honestly, I've never had a bad roll, but I heard from another diner to avoid the White Castle Roll, which I probably would have done anyway. : In summary, it's amazing to have this quality of food in the converted hole-in-the-wall location where it resides, and THANK GOD for it! It's the JAM!
Hibachi was amazing and entertaining! Great food and delicious sushi! Definitely will be back. We arrived at 11:30 on a Sunday and no wait for the Hibachi.
