The food was absolutely delicious! The medium heat Cajun flavor was perfectly balanced, and I really appreciated the steamed rice as a side dish. Every restaurant should offer this option. I would definitely recommend it!

We were on Sunday 7th agust, at midday. the place had not filled to lunch - it was busy halfway through our meal - and we sat fast. todd was our server and he was wonderful. he bought us our drinks quickly and brought us the cheese-bread. my daughter had just mozzarella sticks that she really liked, I had the garnelen po boy who was delicious, and my son and man had 2lbs crab legs, a pfound muscles, whistling with the cook and garnel. they ordered it hot. it came in a huge claw footboard that the manager brought along. everything was fast on the table. todd has refilled our drinks, emptied the bucket of dishes, and it was all fast before we could even think to ask. the manager was so thoughtful, seeing that my daughter turned around to watch the AKC-Hund tests and put it on a screen behind us, so she didn't have to turn around completely. the food was great, my neck and son always shy everything first and let it sit in the basic and suck the spicy, and they loved it. when it was time to pay, that was also fast, which, as they know, can ruin the whole meal when they have to wait. the atmosphere makes fun with all the plastic fish that hang everywhere, and all-in-all, we had a wonderful experience there. would recommend it to everyone.

Let me first explain, I am a snow crab fanatic! My husband surprises me on special occasions with a visit to Pier 17.The best part when eating crab is when you crack open a thick leg, pull out a FULL length chunk of meat, slop it in some butter and pop it in your mouth! Every taste bud in your mouth thanks you for the delectable experience! Here, in Louisville/Indiana area, Pier 17 is the only place I’ve found where this happens. I’ve been served many crab legs from many places around these parts and was always disappointed in the water logged legs that bent when I tried to break them instead of crunching when I broke them open. I’ve spent hours digging crab out one variable piece at a time rarely pulling out a 1/2 leg length chunk. Its a lot of work when you’re digging and digging for meat.Pier 17’s legs taste fresh and never disappoints. I’ve tried the scallops, shrimp and several appetizers…even their iced tea is killer! Not to mention LARRY! This waiter never lets your glass get 1/2 empty without him filling it up. I served tables and bartended for years and would like a certain basic level of service when I go out. Sometimes ya get it and some times ya don’t. He supersedes my expectations!I can’t wait for my next crab night!PIER 17!!!
