McAlister's offers delicious food, but the parking situation at this location can be challenging since it's close to a theater and several other restaurants. During our last visit, the employees at the nail salon next door shouted at us for parking in their spaces on a busy Friday night. I enjoy the food, but it's usually not worth the hassle. When I'm really craving a hearty potato, I usually call in my order and ha... View all feedback.
What SANDY RYMAN doesn't like about Mc Alister's Deli J-town:
I was disappointed with my order. I got a BLT with avocado, but there were only 2 or 3 small pieces of bacon and just a couple of tiny pieces of avocado. I wouldn't recommend this unless you're looking for a sandwich with just tomato and lettuce. View all feedback.
Try again... Small soda, Coke Products, are not much bigger then a great bourbon pour. Cheesecake was good. I tried the Tea 1 wifi hot spot. I could never get it working. In fact, it blocked me because i use a private DNS. Same as you should. Hay Mark See the soup picture. Five dollars. Go elsewhere.
I really like McAlister's. They have a nice fresh baked potato.
It was kind of pathetic to be honest. They gave me the wrong sandwich, which I could look past since it was similar to mine. But they left the paper the cheese comes on and put in on the sandwich.
Absolutely love the food, healthy and light. Nevertheless the last few times I door dashed the order there is always something off about it. The first and second time I ordered a ‘pick two sandwich’ and they just made a whole sandwich of the same sandwich when I ordered a BLT and Italian they just sent a whole Italian both times and kept the cheese (despite me ordering without) both times. Then the third time I door dashed they wrapped the sandwich’s up with the pickles out of the clean wrap so all the juices got into the bread. Then this time, the forth time I door dashed it, the left a freaking long tooth pick in the sandwich horizontally so it would be hidden within the sandwich. All in all, now I’m questioning whether they’ve spit in my food too, because I’ve had so many problems out off door dashing them. Great food, but it’s hard to trust the staff, which is an absolute shame considering I’ve given them so many chances and a a decent amount of money. Do better on supervising the young staff and the rating would have been better. Disclaimer: I don’t write reviews, but I felt as if there’s a serious problem when it comes down to door dash orders that absolutely needs to be addressed. We pay a lot of money for that and I expect more when it comes to trusting the staff with delivery orders. I WILL NOT be door dashing McAllisters anymore.
I don't know whats more challenging for them, getting the order right or remembering if its dine in or to go.
