Great Flood Middletown - Louisville

The restaurant is a great spot for dining and drinking with friendly staff and excellent service. It is a bit pricey, but that seems to be the norm these days.

We always have an amazing dining experience at the restaurant Great Flood in Middletown. The food is delicious and the decisions are tough because everything sounds so good! The beer selection is excellent and they have a full bar. During our recent visit, two out of the three managers/owners, Nick and Bob, were working hard alongside the waitstaff and bartender. Our table ordered shrimp, Swiss mushroom burger, and a cheeseburger, along with mac n cheeseballs, pretzel, and beer cheese. Everything was served hot and tasted delicious! Great Flood is the perfect spot for dinner anytime.

The restaurant was good and we were seated quickly, but our service was a bit slow. I am not going to fault the service because the young lady was new and was doing her best yesterday! The food arrived hot and timed well to allow us to finish our appetizers before our main course. We will likely give them another try to experience their usual service.

Very comfortable place with a good beer selection and a wide menu. beer were really delicious and distinctive, flights were inexpensive. the burgers are made with local farm bark meat, the pommes homemade, and everything tasted fresh. many delicious house made toppings on the burger as well as no prefab stuff. service was also very good. I'll go back if I were in louisville!

Ordered take-out and were not impressed. I had a burger with poutine and neither were very good. The burger meat had little flavor and was medium-rare (toward rare), while I had requested medium. I love steak medium-rare (toward rare) if it has flavor, but this burger did not. I'm giving it 3 stars because it was very edible, and I suspect it would have been better if we had eaten there in person.
