I had an excellent lunch with my son-in-law. we found this location very in agreement with the excellent service we found at other locations. my daughter had her usual, the raised egg sandwich that was excellent. even if it was very hot outside, I had a horn for the sink and rodeur and a cup of tomato basilikum soup. the fresh orange juice tastes like an orange drink! Ordered the oatmeal for my daughter with a wheat+egg allergy as she has eaten this with no issue 10+ times at various First Watch locations. This time we found a large piece of onion in her meal and thought that was odd but not a concern. She struggled to finish it and said she felt odd. Shortly after getting home she had a reaction so there was definitely something with wheat or egg dropped in the oatmeal by someone in the kitchen. I get mistakes happen, but the size of the onion piece means it should have been noticed. Not happy with this carelessness.
Love how I can order healthy (or not). So many great vegetarian choices too. Food always excellent here. Decided my favorite at lunchtime is the Pick Two-Mornimg Market Veg and Superfoods Kale salad.
Our table service was great. The greeter/table bus boy was oddly unfriendly.
Picked up a Kale Tonic to-go before hitting the nail salon just down the sidewalk from First Watch. So yum! Quick in and out and great drink to start the morning off right!
There were more sharp pieces of thick plastic in my brisket bowl than actual brisket.
