The interior of the restaurant is upscale contemporary, beautiful, and clean. Food is extraordinarily delicious and generous portions. Every part of each meal forms a perfect whole. Wait staffs are excellent, especially Bailey. Being able to perfectly describe what each meal was like. We'd definitely come back. View all feedback.
What DP doesn't like about Tchefuncte's:
We had planned on going here for months. Sadly disappointed to say the least. The ” hand crafted” cocktails were basically, nothing special. The atmosphere was nice, service ok, large selection of wine, and alcohol. I kept feeling rushed as we went from course to course. The main dish for all of us (various ones) were not at all the gourmet servings anticipated. I won't be going back as there are far better locations... View all feedback.
The lobster bisque and the Louisiana crab cake are fantastic.

What a great place!! The food was amazing and the service was great with a view of the Thefuncte River.

Utmost in fine dining.... prestigious location right on the river in Madisonville.
