Las Maracas - Louisiana

I had high hopes for this place because the other reviews were pretty good. The service was absolutely fine, no problem there at all there. The waiter was very nice and attentive. The food came out quickly. But the place is dingy. Doesn't feel clean in there/isn't clean. The Diablo shrimp was awful. My wife couldn't eat it because flavor was disgusting. Food was great! Chips and salsa are addictive! Chicken Florentine is delicious! Dollar tacos on Tuesdays! Service the day I came was not great, no drink refills, and rarely asked if we need anything. I'll be back for sure because the food was really really good! If I get better service next time I'll be able to give a 5 star!

A wonderful “hole in the wall” restaurant with great food fir a good price. The margaritas are strong! Wednesdays kids eat free which was a nice surprise.

If you like Mexican food. You will love this place.

First time. So be warned. However, top-shelf Margarita deliciously strong, chips are chips but the salsa is very fresh, spicy, and delicious. Now for my fav Camarones-a-la-Diabla which here they call Diablo Shrimp. It is soooooo good. The Diabla sauce is very savory mixed with the queso. Need I say more. Can't go wrong with fresh avocados. They are AMAZING!! Thank you Las Maracas!! I'll be back soon.
