Giving 4 stars, but the negative star is just personal preference, so take that into consideration. The food here is amazing! Everything we ordered was delicious. Service was great and prices very reasonable. I docked 1 star because the margaritas were not good, in my personal opinion. I ordered the vampire, my friend ordered a mango/srrawberry. What Jon B doesn't like about Lago:
Super slow horrible service wouldn’t recommend took ten minutes for someone to come up and get drink orders and took another few mins for those. Also argued about what a steak quesadilla and a beef enchilada was. Two completely different things. They were slow tonight but the service was horrible. It will be a while before we go back. Best Mexican restaurant I have tried in Louisiana by far. Street tacos were phenomenal. Flavorful choices and friendly service.
These guys made accommodations for our large party shortly before closing. We left a soccer tournament to celebrate a birthday and they did not disappoint. Server was patient and seamless with the split checks. Food was hot and delicious.
