The place is not much to look at except the beautiful art on the walls. But the cheeseburger was the best I've had in a long time and the onion rings get an A+ as well. What Dee S doesn't like about Johnny B's Cafe:
My order was for the steak dinner, medium rare which include salad loaded potato with Jalapenos, garlic toast, and fixins on the side. When I requested medium rare, that's not whst most Black people order. My response was I'm not most Black people. Fantastic place to have lunch. They offer a variety of different items to eat, hamburgers, salads, chicken sandwich, french fries Blue Plate Lunches are what they are known for! So go give it a try. Open for breakfast and lunch till 2pm.
Was pretty good, the hashbrowns are good, but not what you expect. They are more like tater tots.
Outstanding experience and great food. Mr. Johnny is a nice southern gentleman and the ladies sure can cook.
