Lamama Pizza Sub - Louisburg

First time to this place and we picked up a calzone to take with us to the local brewery. I was super impressed with it. The dough on this thing was one of the best I have ever had a nice, thin crust on the outside with 0 grease. Soft and fluffy inside. Toppings were well distributed throughout. I am ~25 minutes away, but if I head back to the area, I am definitely stopping by. Friendly staff added to the entire experience. Glad we stopped in!

My bf and I went to this restaurant this afternoon. He bragged on it and talked about how they used to have the best pizza before arriving there. There was an older man who took our order but my bf didn’t think he was the owner. We ordered 3 slices of pizza and 2 drinks. The man told us our total was: $27.43. My bf asked him if the total was correct. The man had a strong accent and talked really fast. When my bf asked him to repeat the order and prices, the man caught an attitude while repeating the order as though we were getting on his nerves. So we waited to look at the receipt but, the receipt only gave us a total and not a breakdown of the charges. And when that was said to the man who took our order, he ignored us. We also witnessed the same man yelling at a lady working there, being very unprofessional. Despite it all, the pizza was less than mediocre. Very little sauce, toppings were flavorless, it really was not good. My bf said it definitely didn’t taste the way it used to. We will not be coming back.

Sometimes they don't answer their phone for call in orders and then when I did get thru they took my order amd said 20 minutes, so when I got there 20 minutes later they hadn't even started my order? And when I asked them, they said oh its in the oven! As I watched them prepare my order and place it in the oven as I Sat there for 20 more minutes waiting . But the pizza is really good so just prepare for extra wait time .

Excellent Italian food and good prices. We eat here as a family of 4 almost every week. Consistently great food and service. Take out orders are perfect every time.

So many menu options to satisfy all my cravings!! the food arrives hot and fresh, and the staff are so warm and friendly. The restaurant has a cozy family vibe as well. Will be returning asap!
