Joe's Place - LOUISA

If you're in search of top-notch home cooking, you've come to the right spot! The food is absolutely delicious, and the prices are unbeatable compared to anywhere else. We tried the subs this time, which were packed with meat—unlike other places that skimp on the veggies. The burgers are massive! They have an extensive menu featuring a variety of potatoes, pork chops, pizza, subs, meatloaf, and more. The atmosphere is far from a dive; the seating invites you to enjoy their amazing meals. I can't say anything negative about my experience since it was my first visit (on June 4, 2022), and I can't wait to explore their entire menu!

This review focuses solely on the quality of the food. I've only ever gotten takeout from this restaurant because it’s always busy and the space is small, so it tends to be packed. I’ve tried everything on the menu, and my top two favorites are the amazing pizza and the cheese steak subs. In my opinion, everything I order here is good, but those two items stand out the most for me. Where else can you find two large pizzas for under $25 or two whole cheese steaks for under $15? Ultimately, it’s just great food at an affordable price.

Working in the area. First time at Joe’s in Louisa and it was amazing! The roasted ravioli, burgers, pommes were good. That was just a joke! The sauce was sooo good!! Was not in a restaurant in a long time that such a good work on absolutely everything!! And big for the woman who works right in front of the close. All the tables were full, the people were out of the door and they did the damn thing!

My wife and I have passed by Joe's countless times without stopping. Recently, a young lady highly recommended that we give it a try. Although seating is limited, we were able to secure a table. The food was excellent and the prices were very reasonable. We’re looking forward to going back soon!

Server was polite and food seemed to be a fair value. Fries and sandwich had good flavor and decent serving sizes. For a pass through, pick up meal it was satisfying and reasonable. It was not a stand out experience that I would enthusiastically promote to friends and family, but I would recommend it as a decent alternative supporting local business, as opposed to the typical food chain options. It does appear to have some popularity with locals and has limited seating, so I would recommend catching them slightly before or after peak hours.
