The Brewery - Loughborough

Went in for a quick coffee only to be bowled over by reading ‘Vegan Toastie’ at the top of their daily specials board. It was made using sourdough bread and had a choice of pickles I had chilli jam. I had a coffee with soya milk and noticed there was a ‘veggie board’ on the usual menu too with hummus, salad, sourdough bread. Didn’t have time to ask about vegan cake as I was in a rush, but the staff were brilliant and very friendly and smiley so happy to answer any questions

Base toastie was vegan cheese and they could choose options I.e pesto, red plank chutney, chill jam etc to go with it. toastie was very tasty and beautiful. toastie was £7.50 that felt a little expensive. we ordered two hot chocolates, one with milk and the other with milk. neither very tasty chocolate that was disappointing. they love to be offered a greater variety of vegan options. a vegan cake that was a jack.
