Been eating here for a few years now and it's always been delicious. The wait staff and bartender are always polite, pretty attentive but not like things use to be. My meal last night was the pot roast, my 4 stars is due to the very small portion of meat compared to the whopping amount of gravy, suppose to hide the small portion. Although the gravy was the best it's ever been. View all feedback.
What Shari Pearce doesn't like about Dave's Valley Grill:
Due to a computer error, the kitchen didn’t get our order. 2 hours after arriving we ended up with our food to go, because we had had enough. We were not given any type of discount. The manager didn’t come to apologize. After paying we had a word with the manager who said that since we had already paid there was nothing he could do. He could have given us 9 desserts to go with the 9 entrees. I find it hard to believe... View all feedback.
We knew we had to try this after we had read an evaluation of our NextDoor group. 3 pm on Saturday turned out to be a good time with few occupied tables. They are twice as big as Papaburger and the remodel is completely different and beautifully made. The menu is extensive and it was hard to decide, so we ordered more than we could eat. Started with Poutine. I knew about Quebec, but that was more than Gravy, Cheese and Fritten. The engraving was more of a glaze and the steak was a huge bonus. Too big for 2 people, but so good. The soup of the day was shrimp food. Very delicious and not strongly salted. The fish tacos were grilled squid and the onion rings were really crunchy and not greasy. The Chile in the cookies was subdued, a plus for me, but perhaps not so much for high heat aficionados. My husband liked Granny's meat store and thought the Calabacitas were wonderful. Marcus was an excellent server and was happy to answer our questions and I felt that all employees wanted to make sure we had a good meal. We went with two boxes. You let seniors disassemble the children's menu that I might try when I wanted Dessert, but didn't have any room for food anymore. We'll be back soon.
Eureka! Yes, I think I 've found it. I 've been searching for good home cooking--comfort food for quite awhile now and Dave 's Valley Grill certainly offers a variety of dishes that will satisfy you, make you happy and comfortable. There are classic and contemporary entrees that will excite your palate and sure excited mine when I settled in on Thanksgiving Turkey bowl with mashed potatoes, gravy, stuffing and cranberry sauce. It really was as good as Mom 's! But no left-overs, it was so good. Now you can have Thanksgiving in June thanks to Dave. On another day, I had the grilled ribeye steak with fire-roasted corn, mashed and onion rings. Steak was so tender, juicy and cooked to perfection. A generous side salad was served with fresh greens, tomatoes, cucumbers and a tangy honey balsamic dressing. Homemade green chile cheese biscuits came with it. Everything was totally outstanding and delicious. The staff was so professional and they all anticipated my every wish, so friendly and sincerely happy to see you. Dave 's Valley Grill is exceptional in every way and is quite a beautiful addition to the valley.
Fantastic food. Very interesting menu, great service. You have to stop in.
The staff here is absolutely amazing and the food is killer! I love the Pear Brie salad so much, it’s the best combo ever. I also love that they have brunch and their desserts are so delish that I can never say no. I highly recommend this place to satisfy all the food moods in your family.
This is the place! Wonderful variety of food, all excellent. Good for dining solo or groups. The food comes quickly and is served warm. I especially appreciate that the eggs are cooked as ordered. Bottomless mimosas round out the perfect meal experience.
