The Puple Onion Cafe offers wonderful salad, sandwich, and bakery choices. The food is consistent and fresh. They don 't skimp on ingedients or portion sizes. The atmosphere is comfortable but seems more like an afterthought. It is functional... not warm, inviting, or cozy. The service is polite and professional, without the warm nice to see you again friendliness one would expect from a local business. View all feedback.
What Bill Ruehl doesn't like about Purple Onion Café:
Honestly I was underwhelmed. I asked if they made pour overs, got a blank stare. Tasted their drip coffee and understood why. Cheap, weak, drip coffee at premium prices. I don't mind paying for a good coffee experience, that does not seem to be likely here. View all feedback.
Very good service, friendly staff, relaxed atmosphere. The breakfast sandwich was very good, egg, bacon and tomato on whole wheat bread. Drip coffee or espresso and other goodies.
Great chicken mozzarella sandwich. Friendly accommodating service too.
No prices are posted just a menu. I bought 2 simple sandos and a cinnamon bun. 41 dollars! Good food but NOT worth the inflated prices. If you dont care what you spend be my guest.
This place was just ok, the service was not great. The place was dirty inside. The price for two breakfast sandwiches and two drinks was over $30 bucks. I'd rather go to McDonald's next time.
I guess if you other than white you get a different kind of service.. really great place but people staff at the front counter look at you differently if you are of color, made me feel uncomfortable.
