This is the best pasta!! Have the chicken peas pasta and have worked for taste and ingredients like this since I worked for my last employer in the highland park. Top Notch food at amazing prices. I would pay $30 for pasta like this for any Italian remnant, but they don't even charge half of it here. I run a Neapolitan pizza shop in the city center, so I like to think I know good ingredients and this place I think it... View all feedback.
What User doesn't like about The Heights Deli Bottle Shop:
I would love to give this place a higher rating, however, the consistency is non existent. Sometimes the sandwich will be packed full of meats and others its maybe 2 or 3 slices. On two separate occasions, I?ve ordered salad and there is hardly anything in there?!? Paying $12 for a Cesar salad that has less lettuce in it than a $2 bag of cut romain from any grocery store sucks! I really love the flavors but there is... View all feedback.
This is a fantastic spot, but you'll need to appreciate quality beer since it’s priced fairly yet on the pricier side. The food was outstanding—one of the best cold sandwiches I've ever had, and the pizza was excellent as well. I will definitely be back. Food: 5/5
Cool funky spot, good beer options and food was amazing. Staff super friendly as well
I decided to check out the sandwich shop in Lincoln Heights, which also offers pizzas that I plan to try next time. I ordered The Heights sandwich for $12.95, their signature item, along with the hot meatballs and sausage sandwich for $12.75. My coworker, a true sandwich enthusiast, rated The Heights an 8 out of 10. He thought the bread could have been a bit crispier, but the meats were fresh. I found my meatball and sausage sandwich to be good as well, giving it a score of 7.5 out of 10. I might return to sample their pizza. The total for both sandwiches was $26.91.
First time here. I had the Meatball/Sausage hot sandwich and the pastrami sandwich. I liked the meatball one a little more. The wine was perfect (only had bottles, so i HAD to have a bottle), hubby had El Segundo beer Triple IPA he loved. We'llbe back to try something new. Total bill was about $60 not cheap but totally worth it. You definitely get what you pay for quality meats and a great selection of beers and wine!Oh and I almost forgot the amazing truffle fries!!! Yum
I love everything about this place. I came once to check it out and ended up with a bottle of wine, a sandwich, and the parm fries. Came back in recently just for 2 heights sandwiches during lunch. It was busy and the parking enforcement guy was out so I almost gave up, But I was easily able to pop in, order the sandwiches and wait in my car because they have a speaker to the street. The guy taking my order was on top of it and saw i was ready and Expeditiously got me through. I really appreciate their service and food here.Parking: There is metered street parking and then parking in the neighborhood. Just be weary- the parking people hang out here.
