Charming Thai restaurant with traditional dishes. We visited after bowling at Bowlero on a Sunday evening and were seated right away. There is street parking available, and they accept credit cards. The restaurant offers indoor dining only, but takeout is an option as well. I ordered the chicken pad thai, while my friend chose the yellow chicken curry—just a heads up, rice comes with an extra charge for the curry. Th... View all feedback.
What Arko Barua doesn't like about Thai Talay:
I took my family on a Thursday night. Not too much people there. We got calamari and Tom yum soup for appetiser. The quality of the soup was too less and the way they served it was poor. The fried calamari was not fried as we expected. They added carrots In calamari? Where did that come from? And let’s not even talk about the quantity of the pad Thai. Only 2 people can hardly share one plate. The Thai fried rice was... View all feedback.
Stay away from the roasted duck curry with pineapples. Our roasted duck curry consisted of ONLY duck skin and chunks of pineapples. There was not a single chunk of roasted duck in the meal. Instead of telling the customer, they did not have roasted duck available, they probably put together some leftover duck skin in the meal and presented it as roasted duck curry. After pulling out over 6 roasted duck skin from the meal, I gave up, realizing there was not a single roasted duck small portion in tje meal but instead the meal was comprised of all skin. To make matters worse, this establishment does not accept accountability for the bad chefs or accepted what they did, instead arguing that they measure what they put in the meal. Customer service was non existent and me and my wife just still paid our $65 tab and I made a note of putting $0.0 gratuity for their atrocious and bad customer service
They give a lot of chicken and meat for Thai food on their portions. Definitely recommend if you want your protein fix of Thai food
Thai Talay is one of those rare, quality places located in a somewhat rundown commercial business strip along busy, busy Lincoln Blvd., a heavily used route to the airport. The restaurant itself has a very nice facade, however. We were there Wednesday evening, between rush hours (the hostess said lunch is busy during the week), and almost had the place to ourselves (it has a bar, too).I had a rice-bed dish, with shrimps, crabs, shallots (I think) and a number of other ingredients which, combined, resulted in a really good meal.My partner had a noodle soup of some sort which she enjoyed. The service was outstanding, and our very gracious and attentive server was all smiles all the time.Convenient parking is in the rear (no parking usually on Lincoln). All around, an excellent experience in a really nice atmosphere.

Go somewhere else if you have a big team with you.
