I am a huge tribe here and summer is nothing but sweet! She delivered the best customer service and is super with what you are in mood for. She takes her time with customers however, is the best to describe the flavors to a tea. Salt View all feedback.
What Igor Saevets doesn't like about Salt Straw Arts District:
Ice cream is very bad, fatamorgana is several times more delicious. Specifically: Tried all the flavors, at two different locations. There is not a single sour flavor. And the dark chocolate is like mush, with cocoa mixed with some kind of powder. View all feedback.
My first time here. I loved it. They let me taste 5 different flavors. I picked strawberry and coconut water sorbet and pear blue cheese one. Will be back
I found out about this place from doing food delivery. One day I was craving ice cream and remembered this place. Iv been twice so far and love it… the picture is (sea salt caramel w/ caramel ribbons) it’s really good, is a bit salty so I do suggest only get one scoop. The scoops are big size; for the price I feel it’s worth it..
Tried loved the honey lavender ice cream. Even though I’m not usually a fan of floral ice cream flavours as I’d be put off by the strong floral scent, the lavender scent’s relatively mild goes well with honey Great location in the arts district. Came here on a weekday afternoon so it was pretty quiet there wasn’t a line Only downside was that I wish there were more dairy-free or vegan options for those who are lactose-intolerant like me
Really great ice cream here! I liked that they had a chute where you put your dirty spoons. I got the sweet potato pie flavor as a half scoop with another half scoop of some seasonal flavor with ganache. The ganache was really good. So was the potato. Really no complaints. If you're looking for something more exotic, though, they have other flavors like olive oil. I sampled that, it was interesting. I thought it was good.
Tried this Salt and Straw location when I was in the area with my husband. We tried one of the limited edition holiday flavors, the vegan one The Great Cookie Swap. Opted for a waffle cone, too, after seeing they make them there and smelling how delicious it smelled. The ice cream was really good! It tasted like it had a coconut milk base possibly and the cookie was like a gingerbread or something. It definitely tasted very Christmas-y. It was also just the right amount with one scoop. We shared and it was still satisfying. This is a nice location but there's not much seating. Most people hang out outside which is pretty good advertising because then when you walk by, you want ice cream. : I'll definitely be back when I'm in the area again.
