Was David D at Pho Eastern a mag?
This place has become our go-to whenever we're in the mood for some good pho, if we're feeling under the weather, or if we need a warm, fuzzy feeling in food form. We usually get a 2 pho with meat and a side of extra veggies and that lasts for a meal and a half for 2 people. They are quick and reliable. Solid choice. View all feedback.
What Priscilla T dislikes about Pho Eastern:
I used to visit this restaurant regularly over the years, but unfortunately, I won't be returning. My soup was incredibly greasy—truly excessive. If you look at the photo I posted, you can clearly see a layer of grease on the surface. I'm not sure if there's been a change in management, but it just doesn't feel the same anymore. The pho here is excellent and very reasonably priced. I really enjoyed the vermicelli with grilled pork as well!
This restaurant used to be my favorite restaurant to eat pho. But until very recently they changed owners again, my family and myself will be upset and promise never to come back even though we try to visit exactly 3 times (Sunday, Wednesday, Friday . My family was taken over by the staff member who was very kind so we have nothing to complain about the customer service but the food was absolutely disgusting and each customer waited about 20 minutes for their food to be served. . I had the chicken pho with shrimp and spring rolls. And my fiance had fried noodles with seafood. As we were waiting for our food, I noticed the owner talking to the chef. So we finally got our food and my fiance's food smelled like a wet old rag and every time my fiance scooped the seafood around it ended The white texture is very sticky and slimy like a powder. My pho had a strong flavor of MSG and our spring rolls had an unpleasant smell and taste that was overpowered by the re-fried spring rolls. As we were about to pay and leave, the lady noticed we didn't finish our food and asked if there was a problem with it and included 2 complimentary cups of thai tea. When we left we felt a bit nauseous by the chemicals released from MSG but luckily we didn't get food poisoning.

This restaurant used to be my favorite restaurant for some phö. But until very recently my family and myself will sadly never go back. The family that took over the restaurant were very nice so I have nothing to complain about customer service but the food was absolutely disgusting. I got the pho with brisket and some spring rolls with shrimp. And my fiancé got the chow mien with seafood. As we were waiting for our food I noticed that the owners were training the new cooks. So we finally got our food and my fiancé food smelled like a wet old rag and everytime you moved the seafood around it had this really sticky and slimy white texture. My pho had absolutely no flavor and well our spring rolls had shrimp in it so it smelled bad and the taste was overpowering by the old mint leaves. When we were about to pay and leave, the lady noticed we didn't finish our food and asked if there was something wrong with it. But we aren't the type of people to speak up and so we said no. But regardless they didn't let us pay for my fiancés food. When we left we felt somewhat sick like nauseous but thankfully we didn't get food poisoning.
