Was C H at Parsnip a mag?
I can't express how much I love Parsnip! If you didn't get the chance to visit them in Highland Park, make sure to head to Glassell. You won't regret it! I highly recommend their cucumber soup, any of the desserts, and the chicken paprikash! View all feedback.

This place serves modern, slightly hipster takes on Romanian comfort food and it's absolutely amazing. My favorite spot in the neighborhood.

Tiny Restaurant...HUGE Flavor! Oh my, can you say 'comfort food '? Went out of my way to find this authentic Romanian restaurant, and it was well worth the hike even though it ' so small I drove by it twice . (HINT: look for the BLUE building). Carbed out on the flatbread stuffed with potato and chili, fried polenta balls and fried polenta. Each item was only $5 $6, and I ended up having enough food for three meals. Make sure to try the jalepeno cilantro onion relish on everything...it 's that good.

We absolutely loved all the dishes we tried, along with the drinks. It was definitely worth the drive from our Airbnb. The hearty and flavorful food left us completely satisfied for the rest of the day.

I had the Parsnip Paprikash. It was rich, flavorful and quite good. Limited seating. Not fancy.
