Papa Cristo's Catering Greek Taverna

This is the best Greek restaurant! The portions are generous, the staff is friendly, and the menu has a fantastic variety. I ordered two gyros, along with a grilled octopus appetizer and the sizzling feta and tomato appetizer. Each appetizer was served with a side of pita, and everything was delicious! As a huge fan of Greek cuisine, I can confidently say this is the best spot around. I will definitely be returning!

Having grown up in Chicago, I was accustomed to a wealth of Greek dining options and the vibrant Greektown. After moving to LA, it took some time to discover Papa Cristos, but now I finally have a local spot where I can savor amazing Greek cuisine.

They sell mastiha liqueur! Try it with it tonic water (I call it the M&T). And the fish fillet gyro was delicious. Cristo is an amazing guy, super nice. And Wendy was very helpful and friendly. I plan to return.

The restaurant was quite busy, and parking was limited. I visited on a Wednesday, and it was completely packed. I really like how the restaurant is connected to a store. The food was fantastic—I wanted to sample everything, but unfortunately, some items, like the roasted chicken, weren't available. The yogurt is pricey, but it's definitely worth it; it's the best I’ve ever tasted!

Been coming here for 10+ years. This place holds a special place in my life. Great memories were had at this place. Best Lamb Gyros I've had, and has not been dethroned since I first had it. I am not local to the area, but will often make the drive tothis joint. This place has the old school deli vibes that do not change. Its what makes this place special. Everytime you stopby, nothing changed, and it's like time doesn't exist here. Only good times and good food! Been coming here with close friendsfor a long time. There was a 3 year period I didn't stop by (thanks COVID), and upon my return it's so nice to see thingshaven't changed here. Same old amazing market, deli, and delicious food!
