This has to be the best sushi spot I’ve tried in the area! So impressed by the selection (Lemon Roll was the favorite! and felt really elevated at a decent price. We also happened to pop in during happy hour and surprised by how many options there were! Staff and atmosphere was really nice too.Going to be coming back very often :
Amazing sushi place ? all food is good. We recommend trying sushi salad ?Food: 5/5
This place truly is a hidden gem! We decided to try a different Japanese restaurant than our usual place. This change was well worth it. We were greeted by our server, Matt who had a big smile and was very courteous. Since it was a hot day, Matt recommend a Sapporo beer to start out and I took up the offer having a Sapporo draft. My girlfriend tried the iced green tea and her son had Ramune. For appetizers, we ordered Agedashi Tofu , garlic green bean, Salmon Truffle Carpaccio , and the California roll. The tofu was fried and it came with ginger, nori and green onion. I'm usually not much of a tofu fan, but this dish was very tasty. This tofu didn't have the usual bland taste of tofu. Garlic green bean had very good taste with plenty of fried minced garlic attached to each green bean to meet your garlic fix. Salmon Truffle Carpaccio. The Carpaccio had a nice crust on top and the salmon was fresh that made this roll taste very good. The California roll was very fresh and smooth especially after dipping my roll with wasabi. For our entrees , we ordered beef udon soup, chicken teriyaki and the BSC roll. The udon was not salty and you can taste several flavors from the broth with every spoonful. My chicken teriyaki plate didn't have the usual overly sweet sauce poured over. This sauce had a hint of sake and teriyaki sauce which made this taste more enjoyable. The chicken was fresh and soft with no burnt taste on the ends. The BSC had a such great taste with baked Scallops that my taste buds thanked me. I recommend arriving during happy hour to reduce your cost for the appetizers. The price of the entrees are reasonable and the ambiance is very nice and relaxing with smooth jazz music playing in the background. This music put a smile on my face because it took me back to the 80's when I heard A-Ha's Hunting High and Low with a female jazz voice twist to it. We will be back for the great taste, reasonable price and relaxing ambiance.
