Mr Churro - Los Angeles

If you’re looking for something extra, you can have your churro filled with custard, strawberry, or chocolate. They also offer ice cream and raspadas (similar to snow cones). For those seeking savory options, the menu includes asada tacos, sopes, hamburgers, and more, along with a variety of drinks. It’s a convenient one-stop shop, but I simply can’t get enough of those hot, crispy churros!

On the bright side, the tacos were a decent size and flavorful, but be sure to ask for lemons and extra salsa. The green salsa I received was mild and didn’t have much spice. As for the churros, we tried both Nutella and lechera fillings. I preferred the lechera, while the Nutella tasted more like generic chocolate than the actual brand. The woman who took our order was friendly and the service was quick. There are three tables with chairs set up outside the restaurant in the hallway, and they also feature live music in the area.

This restaurant is definitely one of my favorites! Their churros are always fresh and delicious, and they offer a variety of fillings like cajeta, strawberry, guava, and more. I would give it a perfect 10 out of 10!

I got the pistachio ice cream with churros and custard topping. It was so delicious, didn't take long after ordering, and was a good price at $10). I recommend sharing with at least one other person. The line to wait was a little long. There are some benches/tables nearby to eat at and a clean public restroom in the same building.

This place was a reminder of my childhood and my Grandma's cooking. The food was authentic and delicious, it was a small place that I stumbled across but the best food I had in California.
