Monsieur Marcel Gourmet Market, Bistro Seafood Market

Wow, where do I start? First of all, the location is perfect, right on the square. There is so much to do and so much culture to experience. If you're a fan of French cuisine, an aficionado, or just curious to try, this is the place to be. The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful. My party and I had 4 delicious meals in under 40 minutes. Each dish was cooked to perfection and we didn't feel rushed, which was great as we had a flight to catch. The food was full of flavor and the prices were very reasonable. This is a beautiful spot for a romantic date night or a lunch with friends or colleagues. They definitely deliver and I highly recommend it!

We had a fantastic time celebrating Bastille Day at this restaurant. Noah was a wonderful guide in helping us choose our dishes. We began with a lovely bottle of house rose wine, escargot puffs, and vichyssoise. The main course of coq au vin and kartoffeln was tasty, although we would have liked the sauce to be a bit thicker. The music added to the pleasant ambiance, and we highly recommend Monsieur Marcel. We also visited their food shop and brought home some delicious cheese and pate.

Eating is delicious. my family and I loved our eating. some meal times had very large portions, but the adult salmon dish had not enough food.

Eating at the farm market with delicious French cuisine while watching the guests stroll by is a true delight. I have visited the market many times, as well as their location at LAX airport, but this was my first time dining at the restaurant in person. Today, we stopped for lunch on a warm Friday and thoroughly enjoyed the experience. Our server was polite and attentive. I started with the French onion soup, which I really enjoyed. I have had this dish at a few other restaurants recently, and I have to say that this one is among the best. For my main course, I chose the croque madame, one of my favorite comfort foods, and it did not disappoint. The combination of the egg and Mornay sauce was perfect. I live nearby and frequent the grove often, so I will definitely be returning soon and would recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for a great casual dining experience in a unique setting.

This is one of the staple restaurants that people should give a try at least once in their lives. This bistro serves amazing French cuisine! Been going to this bistro since 2004…Only reason I give it a 4 out if 5 stars is because they removed my favorite dish from the menu, the Filet Mignon… it was the best steak dish I’ve ever had… I hope they bring it back one day, otherwise I would give this bistro a 10 out of 5 if I could.
