Mex Peru Gipsy - Los Angeles

This was the perfect place to top of our shopping visit in Santee Alley. Friendly and welcoming staff. Food was ready fast with authentic Peruvian flavor. My fiance visited Peru for 2 weeks and she claims the food is right up to par. We ate every last bite. Hole in the wall atmosphere, served diner style sitting on bar stools. Prices are standard for DTLA but well worth it. Most of all, this place was a lot of fun and we can't wait to come back.

I absolutely love this place! The food was incredible and served promptly, while the service was friendly and enjoyable. I would give it a perfect 10 out of 10!

Stopped by on a recommendation and tried the seafood platter and the filet mignon. Absolutely delicious. Amazing service was great. Drinks were delicious. We’ll be back again.

The food is amazing and the service is fantastic, great host. The lomo saltado is plate licking good!

I ordered Lomo Sal Tado , it was great and the meat was delightfully tender and juicy. The only issue for me was that the fries in the Lomo Sal Tado were a bit too salty. But the restaurant's cozy atmosphere, open kitchen, and the friendly staff more than made up for it. Moreover, if you like to go to Santee alley, this place is located right next to it!
