Luna Park - Los Angeles

I used the GROUPON. I feel like eating a senior in Miami dinner 430 in the afternoon. It was a little loud, a little cramped. But the hostess was charming and our waiter Constance efficient, pleasant and very helpful. We ordered some delicious drinks. The fresh strawberry mojito and the Dr. Pepper bottle w/ Vanille Wodka. Really delish, I'm embarrassed to say that. So now I'm both a voucher with senior and a Spring Break Drinker. I'm ashamed. The grilled artichoke had a really nice lemon sauce, the small Bibb salad and radish salad perfectly delicate. We had the special trout, it was a big part. Fried and non-fat potatoes and roasted tomatoes. The only deficit was the signator. The Mac and the cheese were good, not transcendent. I don't like peanut butter anywhere, but on a sandwich. My other half will eat it on a pig's stall. We had the peanut buttercake, AMAZING. Light but intensely aromatized. I want more!

Four girlfriends tried Luna Park for their Dine LA Prix Fixe menu. Appetizers – The tuna “poke” (pronounced Pokey) was very delicious; meerrot tuna, tomatoes, onions, marinated in soy sauce w/crispy wontons. The goat cheese fondue was fine; a small smoker of melted cheese came with thin sliced apples and (too much) roasted bread. I love feta apples, but this cheese was not so salty, so was a sort of bland. The carrot soup tasted like tomatoes with a light carrot taste. It needed some zing. Posts – The flat iron steak salad was delicate juicy w/lovely mixed greens. Grilled salmon over spaghetti “Aglio y Olio” and Watercress was very nice, but the dress could also have been spinach. One of us does not eat carbohydrates so that they house their w/spinach instead of pasta. Desert – the Meyer Lemon had a thin chocolate layer that was moot. It was very tart. It also came w/bittersweet chocolate sauce. There was no need of chocolate I didn't like the bitter w/ the tart citrus. The fried apple cake w/caramel ice cream was delicious.

Crabcakes were too salty. Potatoes were too buttery. The food is whatever... but the atmosphere is good. Supposedly, the Smores are...

It’s good but not spectacular. halloween is fun because a lot of people come in costume.

Their menu selection isn’t that big, but definitely get the mac and cheese dish. Everyone was eating off of my dish instead of theirs b/c it’s that good. Overall, it’s just ok.
