There aren't many places in West Los Angeles where you can find authentic French galettes and crepes. The galettes here are quite large and there are plenty of options, even for vegetarians. The crepes are a delightful dessert choice. Don't overlook the apple wines from Brittany; while they are dry, they wonderfully showcase the flavor of the apples. The service is excellent, and the peaceful atmosphere makes it easy... View all feedback.

Omg the worst experience of dining I've ever experienced. We were a party of 4 there was one other table of 4. No one else. We waited 45 minutes for our brunch. My poached eggs were still floating in water! The other's dishes were just as bad. Our bill $165! For 4 entrees One cider, one glass of house sparkling, one orange juice, and a bottle of water. Once the food arrived IF we could have eaten it at all we had to... View all feedback.
Fantastic service and delicious galettes from Brittany. Highly recommended!
I had an overripe avocado on my overpriced crepe. The waiter didn’t offer another avocado.
The restaurant was undergoing maintenance due to some flooding issues in part of the building, but the chef and staff still honored our reservations and made us feel like valued guests. I also had an email exchange about a personal request and the restaurant was very responsive, friendly and accommodating. The outdoor seating is right on Westwood Blvd so it's a bit noisy from all the traffic, but it's covered so there's some separation from the street. I had a cheese plate, French onion soup and a Galette Forestiere, along with the Brave and Maiden cabernet. Enjoyed them all. Looking forward to coming back.
Absolutely authentic Brittany-style crepes (buckwheat gallettes) created by the owner who trained in St. Malo. Iréna speaks perfect French and English, but her server needs a little more training in English. Very nice young man, though. Boeuf Bourguignon was also very good. Dessert crepes were too sweet and didn't add anything to the experience, and we'd skip them next time. Authentic Brittany cider was perfect with the gallette.
The food was good but the service speed was honestly really bad. Pricing is also higher than usual compared to similar bistros nearby. We had to hunt down our waitress for our single drink refill, she didn’t check on us during the meal, and it took 55 minutes for our entrees to come out after our appetizers did, so we passed on doing dessert given the super slow service time. Also we had made reservations weeks prior, but half the restaurant was reserved for a private party and the live band was incredibly loud. So loud that no one near us could talk at their tables. It’s located in Westwood and there is no dedicated parking lot, but paid meter street parking is easy to find.We started off with the French Onion Soup and an Empanada and both were very good. They came out fast and were extremely hot, but good. Then we waited almost an hour for our entrees to come out which were the Sole Meunière and the Beef Tartare. The sole was very good and although I wasn’t a fan of the quinoa base it still enjoyed it. The tartare was not very good however; not a strong beef flavor and it was ground too fine, closer to ground beef instead of the chunkier, authentic version.Overall pretty good food but the inflated price and the slow service made the experience a stressful one. I don’t plan to return.
