It was a great experience our server was very patient with us since it was a first date and we took a long time to order because we were talking. We stayed till they closed the restaurant we felt bad but great full they were understanding. We will definitely be back from a chefs standpoint the food was amazing can’t wait to try more! What User doesn't like about La Cava:
Very pleased with our dishes, overpriced but our food tasted really good. On the other hand a little shocked of the refusal to taste wine before committing to one in particular, not super pleased with the uneven pours of our 2 “expensive” glasses of wine by a half inch and not to fond of not being able to get bread, only leftover pizza doe cuts available. Overall disappointed and will not recommend I’m sorry. View all feedback.

Great neighborhood restaurant. Food is delicious and the staff are friendly and welcoming.
Great service and fantastic food. Had a few salads before dinner. Both salads were delicious. We had branzino, and 3 of their special pasta dishes. All were delicious. Reminded us of our trip to Italy. The only change I would recommend is that the olive oil served with the bread was not robust and lacked flavor. Otherwise, everything else was superb.
A neighborhood favorite, we always start with the polenta and mushrooms. All the pasta is wonderful as are the lamb chops and the short ribs. Do not pass up the chocolate gelato.
