I celebrated my birthday dinner at this restaurant. The food was excellent; however, many items on the menu were unavailable when we arrived. The waiter provided a comprehensive list of dishes that were actually offered, which was almost as lengthy as the original menu! What User doesn't like about Kai’s Table:
We had a 10:30 PM reservation, we drove to the restaurant and it was closed, wow! A call would have been very kind especially when you require a credit card for the reservation. View all feedback.
To begin with, the restaurant wasn't open for our reservation, yet I still had to make a deposit through Apple Pay. It's ridiculous to require payment when the establishment isn't even operational.
I visited on Super Bowl Sunday, and they offered a fixed menu. While the drinks were exceptional, the food was inedible. We tried every dish on the menu, and unfortunately, each one was disappointing. I won’t be returning.
We waited more than an hour for our food to arrive, which was quite disappointing.
It was a disaster. I made a reservation for 8 to celebrate a milestone birthday in honor of my Dad. I attempted to contact the restaurant by phone, email and text, days ahead of the date of our dinner, to move my dinner time to 30 minutes later. I received no response. At 2:30 p.m., on the day of my 5:30 reservation, I received a non-descriptive text, from an unknown number saying my reservation had been cancelled. I went to Kai’s Table site to find it had been updated to say the establishment would be closed on Tuesdays. I tried to make a new reservation on Open Table. However, since the establishment did not cancel my reservation on the Open Table platform, I could not reserve a table anywhere else. I was left scrambling for a place to eat and having to inform my guests of the change at the last minute. This was terrible customer service.
My birthday dinner. The food was excellent however everything on the menu was not available when we got there. The waiter presented a full list of food that they were out of which was honestly almost as long as the foods they did have! We also didnt appreciate the extra “service charge” on top of the gratuity. Same thing. But the food was great, the music was fantastic, and so was the ambiance.
