I recently had the chance to try some French fries with Japanese curry and egg at this restaurant, and I have to say, it was quite the experience. First of all, the flavors were amazing. View all feedback.
What Michael Liu doesn't like about Humble Potato:
Really great burgers and crispy, tasty katsu! Terrific service, fast and friendly. Plenty of seating and space out back. Caveat is that it’s pricey so be prepared if you’re feeding a family, ended up being $25 a person for 4 of us. But nevertheless really good food and super nice folks, so I’d highly recommend trying out. View all feedback.

I would not recommend this restaurant based on their poor service. As an independent small restaurant, I strive to provide better service to all customers.
I used to frequent The Humble Potato location in Westchester (at LAX) at 8321 Lincoln Blvd, Los Angeles, around 90045, but have since switched to the Culver City location.
Out of the 10 restaurants we visited in the Los Angeles area, this place was the only one that greeted us when we walked in and said goodbye when we left. During our weekend visit, we were surprised by the poor customer service at every single establishment in the area. We ordered the chicken katsu and a Japanese hot dog with Parmesan fries, and everything was delicious. Our waiter was attentive and provided excellent service. Thank you for your hospitality, and other restaurants should take notes on how to properly run a restaurant!
We stumbled upon this restaurant by accident recently while on our way to the airport, and it turned out to be a pleasant surprise. The first place we tried wouldn't allow anyone under 21, but luckily this spot had no such restrictions. We ordered the Obaasan chicken sandwich and the Spam Musubi burger, both of which were amazing. The sauce on the Obaasan was particularly delicious. The only complaint we had about the food was that the fried egg on the Spam Musubi burger was overcooked, resulting in a dry burger. The kids enjoyed their popcorn chicken and burger as well. The service was friendly and attentive, and we were seated on the patio due to limited indoor seating for our party of four. Despite the less than desirable view of the outdoor trashcan being constantly used by servers throughout our meal, we still had a very enjoyable dining experience.
