Fred's 62 Cafe - Los Angeles

May 2022 Dined in on a Saturday night around midnight. Party of 4. Short wait as the place was packed! They sat us at the bar which was fine with us as we were starving!Food/Pricing Sliced Wolfs 26 Packard $22.62) was delicious!! A bit messy to eat but still yummy nonetheless. Also got the Nutella Shake $8.50 0.75 for oreos), omg maybe it was the fact that I was starving and it was midnight but SO good!! Highly recommend both!!!Service/Ambiance Very attentive, quick, and friendly service! It also helped that we were sitting at the bar so we could flag staff down much easier. All the staff were working hard running around, I appreciate the establishment being open so late! Ty!!Will I be back? Heck yes!

Imagine this, you leave the club, and the hot dog providers are tempting You with their additional bacon-wrapped hot dogs, but you kindly say no, as this is a heart attack expected to happen as you know that you can not only eat one. You want to stay away from the 24-hour wood Rif-raf Diners, drive east and find Fred 62. However, if you arrive, you are worried that the wait is long, but until this time, you already desire only at least one "heal" from this smiling provider and wait it out. I may have told you that you eat these "dogs" and save your money, but you are still waiting for it to see the place. So I dimmed here many times, on a late Sunday morning or after hours of clubbing. Most of my visits are not unforgettable and I have a favorite server, cannot remember their name, it is Brazilian and visited school, and she was always very nice to us. The food is so and they offer healthier fares. Her Asian Cobb Salad is decent and healthy, the Fried Mac n cheese balls are just as good and the pancakes are surprisingly good. This is a place where a lot of desires and established “creative” types, the punked out teens, the tatoo squad and nerds mix and do to their own business and just enjoy the scene. What is really cool is their inscribed teenagers who wear the servers like “We Serve Crackers” and other amusing one-lined one-line. I ate at Fred 62 feb 14 2008 and had breakfast there .. I had stuffed eggs with bacon, and my friend had a tuna melt, okay, the waitress magna was for lunch, it took age to get the order, eventually brought it or someone else did, the order, check, no forks to eat, the toast, the sourdough was cold and hard like a rock... the butter was hard like a rock and the service sucked young girl. that was my anniversary and that was the breakfast before the anniversary dinner, terrible service and overpriced, the tuna melt was good, except the girl never asked what a bread it was, the food was ok, except when it hit me... diahrrea meets great time... the whole night of these eggs... I know it was that, as I did not eat anything else and could and it ruined my Anniversay meal, overpriced and not my cup of tea got sick, 23 dollars for what???? afew eggs and toast and melt a tuna and end with food poisoning, no way will I ever go to this joint that is overpriced again, [hid email]

The servers are quirky. Breakfast is fabulous. They are open 24 hours. What is not to love?

I've been sitting here for LATEA. Food is simple, but delicious. The staff was good. The location was at 12 o'clock, Friday night. Sitting is a little tight. They're pretty close to strangers, just an FYI. I don't care. Like her desserts. Would definitely return in the future.
