Have a great meal during happy hour while sitting at the bar. Drinks and food were fantastic. The hostess was extremely rude when we arrived which was the only downfall. My friend was waiting for me at the bar and I told the hostess when I arrived that I had a reservation for two. She said just to let you know you can 't make table reservations for happy hour . I said okay is it all right if we sit at the bar and she... View all feedback.
What Veronica Kamuda doesn't like about Forma Restaurant Cheese Bar Venice:
The Gnocco fritto was good but we wouldn?t go out of our way to order it again. Kind of a first time buy. The cacio e Pepe was good but the smell of garlic was somewhat overpowering. We also ordered the mushroom tortellini which was good but too simple. One dimensional flavor but yummy. View all feedback.
The Gnocco fritto was enjoyable, but we wouldn’t make a special trip to order it again. It felt more like a one-time experience. The cacio e pepe was tasty, though the garlic aroma was a bit too strong for our liking. We also tried the mushroom tortellini, which was good but rather basic. The flavor was a bit one-dimensional, but still delicious.
I can't speak for the entire menu, but I ordered the Chitara Cacio e Pepe, and it was essentially spaghetti drenched in olive oil. Priced at $27, it came to $33 with tax and tip. It had almost no flavor, and I could have easily made the same dish at home for around $1 in ingredients, in just 10 minutes using a pot. It feels like they're taking advantage of customers.
They offer an amazing happy hour along with a wide variety of cheeses! The chicken liver pâté is a must-try! Their cocktails are outstanding as well, and the service is excellent too.
Came here for my last dining experience while I was in Los Angeles and it was incredible. Burrata with beets was so soft and creamy. The pasta is all home made, then they throw it in the three different cheese barrels and mix it around. The mushroomtruffle pasta was to die for! This was my favourite Italian restaurant in the area. And for the price you can?t go wrong. Alsokudos to the staff. They recommended these tasty dishes
C'mon!! !!!They prep your freshly cooked noodles in cheese barrels. What the hell else can one say!! !!! Italian dining at its finest. I visited both locations, Santa Monica and Venice, both are beautifully decorated for a nice formalnight out with yourloved one. Wine selection does not disappoint. It is a cheese bat, so if you love cheese, this is the damn place!
