I really wanted to come here and try to french toast options because of all the great reviews, but on a cold spring Sunday morning, I decided on Shaksuka to warm me up. This place is inside a food hall, with outdoor seating in the halls corridor, which is very dog-friendly. You can sign up for a table on the yelp waitlist or on a kiosk in-person... we didn 't have to wait long when we signed up on the app while walki... View all feedback.

The food was pretty good, although quite of a wait for how many people were currently sitting in the restaurant. Expensive but pretty standard pricing for the area. The atmosphere was nice and the shaded mall was enough to keep us cool while we were eating. The service was okay at best. You can order from a QR code or at the register but I noticed we weren’t being checked on or getting our waters refilled as often as a traditional service restaurant. This wasn’t a make or break for me, and I’d definitely come here again.
My friend and I were looking for a breakfast spot close to the Last Bookstore and this place hit the spot! We went on a Saturday Morning and the wait wasn't too long. We got the breakfast burrito, breakfast burger, crunchy French toast (to share) and a French press coffee. The savory entrees were delicious but the star of the show was the crunchy French toast. I usually don't like sugary breakfasts, but this French toast was very good. Additionally, they have a special house hot sauce that was super good!
We always get the crunchy french toast, and they never disappoint. Crunch, flaky on the outside, while moist on the inside, these are amazing to order and share with your party. Their Blue Jam Benedict are also great, with plenty of potatoes to make sure that you become full. I've always been a huge potato lover, and each potato has that crispiness that you'd want. I think they used to have a special ketchup/sauce, but they might not have that anymore. Anyways, still a must-try, and an LA brunch staple!
Visited as soon as they opened. The women at the counter was sweet and friendly. She let us know we could order through the QR code which I do not like. It takes away from the overall experience and I need to be able to customize my food. Over all 8/10. Food was tasty and fulfilling. I loved the potatoes. Yummy! Jalapeños/serrónos were on point! I will be back.
