Contribute FeedbackOnce a cherished dining spot, Bao Dim Sum's recent offerings reflect a mixed bag of experiences. While the extensive menu features delightful dim sum classics praised for their taste, some patrons note a decline in service quality and portion sizes. The vibrant atmosphere can be noisy, making conversation a challenge. Guests appreciate the attentive staff, though some report a cold demeanor from the management. Complimentary valet parking is a plus in the busy area. Overall, while Bao continues to deliver flavorful dishes, it may require tweaks in service and ambiance to fully recapture its former charm.
Each dish has a great balance of flavor and was close to authentic in my books, and I liked the ambience
Love the complimentary valet coz finding parking in LA is a chore. Everything dish was good but my favorite would have to be the pork and shrimp shumai! yummy! The staff are very prompt as well.
The service was good! The food was fantastic! I dont have to go to Chinatown to have a good dimsum!
Bao used to be one of our favorite restaurants The service has gone downhill and the portions have become increasingly smaller. The noise level has also gone up to the point where we couldn't even hear the person next to us. Overall the dining experience just isn't as enjoyable as it used to be.
Always great, especially the Chinese Chicken Salad and Spicy Seafood Soup , so good you'll be back for more!! Tasty Dim Sum and then some!!!!! Esther is always friendly and does an awesome job!
