Angry Egret Dinette - Los Angeles

Charles was an awesome server! Had been before for lunch, first time for dinner and it was sooooo delicious! So flavorful!

We got to the restaurant about 20 minutes before our dinner reservation time, but we were seated right away. The servers and the hostess were super nice and sweet, and they were super attentive to our son as well. After getting our beverages, a Frogtown brew and La Luz hibiscus agua fresca, we ordered four small bites from their menu- fish tacos, ceviche tostada, the squash mushroom quesadilla, and mussels- and that was more than enough food for the three of us. Our favorite was definitely the tostada, which I believe was a special. The fish tacos were HOTTT, in the most delicious way. My least favorite was probably the tomato sauce with the mussels, as it was super acidic, but every other component in the dish was great. We loved being seated in the courtyard, right under their grapevines! Such a wonderful ambiance and it’s kid-friendly, which we were happy to find out. We’re definitely coming back for lunch hours soon.

Everything we ordered was absolutely delicious. Perfect place to go for a fun night out with excellent food.

We enjoyed the perfectly prepared fried fish. It paired nicely with a Chardonnay from Baja. It was perfect for two. The sauces enhanced every bite. Chris took very care of us. The background music was cool. We loved every minute.

Very good new spot for us and we cannot wait to return. Cool location with a cool vibe inside. The employees were more than helpful and made our dining experience very pleasurable.
