Volcano Burgers - Los Alamitos

Imagine being back in high school, but in the best way possible. That's what Volcano Burgers feels like.

This restaurant is amazing when it comes to food. The service is excellent, and you’re greeted with a smile from the staff at the window. It's quite busy, and the only seating available is outside since it's a small venue. They have a limited parking area, but some customers park on the street. There’s only one spot designated for handicapped parking, which could be improved. The drive-thru line can block cars in the parking lot, but despite these drawbacks, this place truly excels in food!

I had a craving for chili cheese fries, so we decided to share an order. I opted for a cheeseburger while my husband chose the colossal burger, thinking it came with three patties. Our order arrived quickly, but my husband was initially disappointed to find that his burger wasn’t what he expected—it had pastrami on it. However, one bite changed his mind completely, and he ended up loving it! My cheeseburger was delicious, and I ended up mostly finishing the fries I said I’d share. The chili had a nice kick to it, and the freshly grated cheese was perfectly melted. We’ll definitely be back, but I hope they improve their parking situation soon!

Old school basic burgers done well. Tasty and cheap, and plenty of options. Outside seating on patio. Parking and drive thru can be busy and backed up though. Made it tough to get out of the parking lot.

Amazing fast food spot.... Do not Miss it! Just driving by this spot makes me hungry
