Taco Surf - Los Alamitos

This spot was recommended by coworkers stating it 's really good but it was not. The food is not authentic, very Americanized, blan, felt more like a sports bar. Our server was not very friendly, seemed like a grump, rice tasted like it was microwaved, can beans, the michi was unnecessarily spicy, unpleasant to drink. Restrooms need some TLC, crowded with sport teams, loud kids. Wouldn 't recommend to friends ????

Awesome Baja Mexican restaurant in Los Alamitos. The service is quick. The food is excellent. The drinks are good. The al pastor tacos, the shredded beef tacos, and the fish tacos are amazing. Everything here is really good. Highly recommend.

I know this is everywhere, but I can't believe prices and food aren't the same. I ordered a tostada with ground beef and it was so salty, I even ask my son to taste it to see if he thought so, yes. I told the waiter who has another guy who came over and looked at me like I committed a crime and took my food, but put it on the bar I had before me, and that was it. He didn't ask if I wished or would say that he was sorry that I didn't like the food, just nothing!!!! I think I want to come back. This manager must be taught how to treat customers.

Always great food and service! But honestly never got a refill on our drinks and that's the first time that ever happened! Oh well at least the food is top notch!

Great Mexican food. Super nachos with carnitas and shrimp seafood bowl. Horchata drink to wash it all down. This is a cool, colorful spot. Happy hour from 4pm to 6pm Monday thru Friday. Great customer service!
