I revisited this restaurant and had to check my previous review because they've hired a new dishwasher! Plus, they're offering Bentoboxes again! Not the usual white Styrofoam containers for takeout, but... View all feedback.
The super Bento box was great. Ingredients/fish were very fresh and well lubricated. Would definitely return for more. Lunch specialities are competitively expensive.
We ordered a large amount of food for a small wedding, and the staff was great! Everything was ready for us to go when we arrived, and they made sure that we had all the sauces and utensils. Everyone loved the food. We had a lot of great comments about their salad dressing. We had some extra dressing, and I was forbade from throwing it out :D
Real Japanese dishes and taste excellent. Prices are very reasonable.
Our neighbor suggested this spot as a classic mom-and-pop Japanese restaurant, and it truly is just that. While it's not fancy, the prices are reasonable, the portions are generous, and the food is delicious. We ordered the chicken katsu curry and yakisoba, and both dishes were exactly what we had hoped for.
We ordered a selection of dishes: Sushi a la Carte, Tuna Tataki Roll, Volcano Roll, and Beef Udon, sharing them among four people. While I typically lean toward sashimi, I also appreciate well-crafted sushi and rolls. I was blown away by the quality! The sushi practically melted in my mouth. Everything was delicious, but the octopus, eel, and salmon were particularly exceptional. Each bite was a delightful seafood experience—especially the octopus, which felt as if it was dancing on my tongue! If you're a sushi lover, ordering those is a must. The fish quality here is outstanding, and I have no idea where they source it from, but it’s top-notch. The Volcano and Tuna Tataki Rolls were also impressive; they were so large that I struggled to take them in one bite! Unexpectedly, the standout dish was the beef. The broth was infused with a rich, smoky flavor, and the udon noodles were silky smooth—I could almost swallow them without chewing! I found myself unable to stop eating. The staff were all polite, and I appreciated the self-service stations where you could find two types of soy sauce, sriracha, and hot water. The main chef is Japanese, and it clearly contributes to the exceptional quality of the food. If you’re in the area and craving authentic Japanese cuisine, do not miss this place!
