Contribute FeedbackDespite mixed reviews on the ambiance and service, Got Kosher impresses with its California-French-Tunisian fusion cuisine. The homemade bread, including famous pretzel challah, receives high praise along with dishes like the Brick Alouf, burger, and Baba-Ganouj. The Grillade Royale is a standout. Despite some issues with order fulfillment and customer service, those who love the food at Got Kosher find it worth the visit. An appreciation for the unique offerings, like pretzel croissants, and standout customer service experiences contribute to this kosher spot's appeal in LA's dining scene.
I had never tried a pretzel croissant before, and I believe this is the only place in LA that makes them. It was absolutely amazing! This small, family-owned restaurant is definitely worth a return visit.
It's sad that Got Kosher/Harissa had to close its doors. Who will now make those delicious artichoke beignets in Los Angeles? Alain is a talented and important restaurateur in the city. Let's support his new bread venture!
We ordered Shabbos food from this restaurant/take out place for last Shabbos. I placed the order on Wednesday, as requested. I ordered cake , but was not told when I reviewed the order with the person in charge that the baker was not working that week. We went to pick up the food at 1 pm , as we said we would, but 3 locals were taken before us. We were made to made at least 15 minutes. Then when we finally got our food, we were told that the baker had not worked that week. Instead of going to the bakery first thing in the morning, we had to waste more time to go to the bakery, as it was closing. This took an hour of our time and caused us to disappoint our son and inconvenience our niece who we had taken out for the day . Most of the food was quite good, but we didn't appreciate the rude service and treatment. I mentioned our dissatisfaction to the person in charge today and was met by an empty apology, but little else.
The customer service at this restaurant is outstanding! I explained a problem I was having, and Linda was incredibly kind and made sure my order was filled on the same day. After contacting 20 other delis, I finally found a caring and compassionate person at Got Kosher. In a world dominated by impersonal corporate stores, this place is a breath of fresh air. I am thrilled to have discovered this gem. Love Got Kosher!
Came in to pick up some pretzel challah I can't believe I'm saying this but there were two workers behind the deli to the right immediately when you walk in who refused to wear a mask (2 Employees). Totally disgusted , if they don't wear mask who knows how they prepare your food. Not to mention it's completely illegal to do in Los Angeles.
