The food combinations and flavours and textures were really well thought through and assembled, down to small details like pouring sauces at the table so the textures were crisp where they were planned to be. Every dish choice was excellent. The wine was lovely, although for the overall standard of the restaurant I’m surprised it wasn’t more extensive. The staff were very friendly, patient with us when we were delayed on arrival and helped with organising taxis the next day, plus very professional in their table service.

Alth... read more We have just had a fabulous meal at Le Yachtman. The service is friendly and attentive. We had a round table for four in charming and elegant surroundings. Although we only had the set lunch, well priced, there was great attention to detail in each dish. Simple ingredients, nicely presented, with delicious taste combinations. Also good wine by the glass. All in all, thoroughly to be recommended.

There is a great choice of wines. We all had moules-frites, which were up there with the best we have had before. It is a bit on the expensive side, but, I suppose you are paying for the location and the fresh ingredients.

The quality of the food was superlative, so we definitely advise it (fish of course), the wine was as well very good. But all the time we felt unwelcomed as the waiter was very dry. The bill was correct, apart the calvados that was billed 12 euros for a very small glass.

The wine list is absolutely gorgeous. We had a superb Anjou Blanc by Eric Morgat, and on another occasion an out of this world Chambolle Musigny. All is well under this roof...
