Ok, there are definitiw some mixed reviews on ta here. we wanted to skip it, then we asked an imperial in our hotel where he liked and he said that domingos was one of his favorites. we were so happy that we didn't miss this tasty bite....The ambiente was very rustic/kowboy, but clean. eating came in several cures, everyone better than the last. I had the bohnensuppe as an appetizer, and with the serranos, wobbles and cilantro it was a joy at the mouth. when we came to the main court (I had proposed the arrachera more like a stew) I was already full, but there was no possibility that I did not finish this wonderful leak. Do not miss this little steakhouse!
We were from las missiones hotel. we ordered ribeye. No one will not accept us through credit card. they exchange my dollar to 16 pesos. the hotel gives 19 and the bank 21.
I was lucky and this restaurant was right next to my hotel. The first night I ordered the broiled lobster dinner. After soup then salad (witch were good) Three medium size lobster tails arrived (WOW). They were beautifully presented and expertly prepared. I devoured all...three. My total bill was about $40 but that included two margaritas. This is a steakhouse so on different occasion I had fillet minion. It was superior. One night I poped in just before they closed asked for a cheese burger to go, even though they were shutting down for the night they made it for me. Good folks. Give this place a try.
Such a disappointment. Many locals have noted the quality of their meat has declined but we decided to go anyway as this has been a past favorite. We had their arrachera and it was like eating sponge. After a few attempts it was moved aside...to be taken home to the dog. We attempted to address our concern to the manager but he was too busy to speak to us. All said, I’ve always loved the staff and ambiance here and hope they can turn things around.
We were very surprised at the unassuming restaurant. If you happen on this place you will not be disappointed. We both had prime rib not frozen it was fresh and absolutely perfectly cook. The ambiance is romantic, slightly on the dark side but...candles on the table. Interesting Mexican decor. Great selections of food on the menu and full bar. Staff spoke english very well. We would not hesitate to eat here again. Parking is a challenge arrive early and you might get a spot in front.
